BOISE -- The Boise State football program prides itself on its ability to recruit the top talent around the Treasure Valley and that hard work is now showing up on a national level.
On Wednesday, two Idaho born Broncos, Kyle Efaw and Tyler Shoemaker appeared on prestigious national watch lists.
Efaw has been honored with his name on the Mackey Award watch list. The award goes annually to the nation's top tight end. During the 2010 season the Capital High product caught a career high five touchdown passes.
The Mackey Award winner will be announced on December 8th on the Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards show.
Shoemaker, who attended Mountain View High School, appeared on the Biletnikoff watch list, which puts his name right along with the top wide receivers in the nation. Last season 'Shoe' set career highs in touchdowns, receptions, and total yards. He'll likely be Kellen Moore's number-1 target during the upcoming season.
