BOISE -- The depth chart for Boise State's season opener against Georgia was released Monday by head coach Chris Petersen.
Senior quarterback Kellen Moore is one of eight returning starters on an offense that averaged 45.1 points a game last season.
Looking to replace record-setting wide receivers Titus Young and Austin Pettis, coach Petersen says either freshman Matt Miller or sophomore Geraldo Boldewijn will start at the 'X' receiver position, while junior Mitch Burroughs will start at 'Z'.
Senior Tyler Shoemaker, who's 32 receptions last season leads all returning players, will start in the slot.
On the defensive side of the ball, senior Jerrell Gavins replaces Brandyn Thompson at cornerback, with senior Cedric Febis taking over for Jeron Johnson at the safety spot opposite senior George Iloka.
Boise State kicks off the season at Georgia on Sept. 3.
