BOISE -- The Boise State football program won eight championships during its tenure in the Western Athletic Conference and Athlon Sports believes the Broncos will pick up where they left off when they begin playing in the Mountain West this fall.

The popular sporting magazine chose BSU to finish on top of the MWC football standings when the conference season comes to a close this December.

As a matter of fact they are predicting a perfect 7-0 run by the Broncos, but the magazine is NOT predicting a perfect season for BSU.

Athlon chose TCU to finish second with a 6-1 record followed by Air Force and then San Diego State.

The sporting magazine ranked Boise State fifth in its 2011 preseason top-25 poll.
