Destiney and three others were hospitalized after a collision between the passenger car they were riding in and a pickup truck. Jamie Vincent, 36, was driving the trio to school when investigators say she made a left turn onto Park Lane, and was T-boned by the oncoming truck.

Destiney was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the coroner's office.

Destiney's brother, Kevin Jacobs, and Vincent's son Jonas both remain in the Intensive Care Unit at Saint Alphonsus. Vincent was also injured in the crash, but has been released from the hospital.
